The EZ-Up LP-6 Retractable Safety Ladder Post provides safe access through a roof hatch. The assembly mounts permanently to the roof hatch. It extends the ladder to allow safe entry and exit through the roof access hatch.
After the user opens the roof hatch, they raise the post with one hand, and the post self-locks upright. The user can then safely climb the ladder to the rooftop using the post for a handhold. The retractable safety post folds down easily into the stowed position.
